SteinWipe Motion Control Pro For X1 Series & Orca Slicer

Initial release - First Core 2 (SWMC Pro) release for Bambu Lab X1C on Orca Slicer. Prerelease content; feature definitions may change at launch based on final testing.

- SteinWipe User Definitions (SWUDs): global variables at the top of Start gcode for numeric and string values. Organized into multiple categories: Build Plate Offsets, Build Plate Nozzle Scrape, Purge settings, Nozzle clean settings, Motion tuning, Calibration and retraction overrides.
- Primetowerless AMS via ProTab docking. Coordinated dock-and-prime sequence eliminates prime tower requirement for multicolor prints.
- Continuous movement purging: G92/G92.1 coordinate spoof enables chute sidestepping without slicer boundary errors. purge_sidestepping now ships without user configuration changes.
- New Fast Boot & Startup Control SSDs: production_mode (keeps heaters warm between prints at 140°C hold), no_chatter_mode (strips verbose startup routines into user-selectable building blocks), agree_chatter_on (restricted to safety-vetted Discord group for extended no_chatter_mode customization).
- New SSDs: startup_scrub, purge_arc_pinching, purge_stretching, steinretraction_revo, steinwipe_after_inserted_pause, lower_bed_on_pause, cali_pa_to_max_filament_volumetric, cali_pa_to_top_layer_volumetric.
- All Core 1 SSDs preserved, including the seven X1C-only hardware SSDs: use_purge_work_light, dark_mode, ooze_prevention_before_flow_cali_scan, steinwipe_after_flow_cali_scan, override_first_layer_scan_with_swmc, print_pa_line_over_qr, skip_build_plate_detection.
- "Agree" liability gate: users must add "agree" to printer notes before Orca will produce usable Pro gcode.
- ProTab hardware integration. Most Pro features require the ProTab installed.
- Orca Slicer exclusive at launch. BBS support TBD.
- No automatic migration from Core 1; users should review their printer notes when upgrading.
- X1C variant ships May 30, 2026.

Manual content reflects current development intent; feature definitions, SSD behaviors, SWUD values, and feature scopes may change without notice at launch based on what has been fully tested and validated. The post-release manual will reflect the authoritative final feature set.

SWMC Pro is Core 2 of SteinWipe Motion Control. Pro introduces SteinWipe User Definitions (SWUDs) alongside the existing SteinSwitch Definition (SSD) system. SWUDs are numeric and string values assigned at the top of Start gcode; SSDs are keyword toggles in printer notes. You will use both layers to configure Pro.

Pro is Orca Slicer exclusive at launch. SWUDs require global variable support that Bambu Studio does not currently provide. X1C users who prefer Bambu Studio should continue running SWMC Core 1 for full SSD functionality.

If you are coming from SWMC Core 1, Pro preserves every SSD you know (including the seven X1C-only hardware SSDs for LiDAR, work light, and dark mode) and adds substantial new SSDs plus the entire SWUD layer. No automatic migration; review your printer notes and SWUD values after installing Pro.
