Leckiestein Terms and Conditions for Digital Products

1. General Terms

By purchasing or downloading any digital files (STL, STEP, G-code, CAD, or other formats) from Leckiestein, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are binding and designed to protect both the creator and the user of the files.

 

 

2. Non-Refundable Policy

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final and non-refundable once the files have been downloaded. This policy ensures fairness and prevents misuse, as digital products cannot be "returned."

 

 

3. Usage Rights

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the digital files.

  • Allowed:

    • Download and use the files for personal projects.

    • Modify the designs for your own use.

  • Not Allowed:

    • Reselling, redistributing, or sharing the files.

    • Uploading the files to public or private repositories.

    • Selling physical items produced from the files (unless a commercial license is granted via Tier 3+ membership).

 

 

4. Commercial Use

If you wish to use Leckiestein designs for commercial purposes, you must subscribe to the Pro Maker License Tier (Tier 3+ on Patreon) or purchase a separate commercial license. Any unauthorized commercial use is a violation of these terms.

 

 

5. Support and Updates

Support is provided based on your tier membership level.

  • Tier 1: Access to STL files and limited project chat channels.

  • Tier 2+: Access to all development files, including CAD, G-code, and manuals.
    Updates to files are included as part of your active membership, but support is not guaranteed for unauthorized modifications.

 

 

6. Disclaimer of Liability

All files are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Leckiestein is not responsible for:

  • Damage to your printer or equipment.

  • Injuries or harm resulting from the use of the files.

  • Errors caused by user modifications or misuse of the files.

Use these files at your own risk.

 

 

7. Copyright and Ownership

All intellectual property rights to the digital files remain with Leckiestein. Any infringement of these rights may result in legal action.

 

 

8. Refund Requests

As stated in Section 2, all purchases of digital files are non-refundable. If you experience technical issues or believe a product has an error, please contact Leckiestein via direct messages for assistance (do not use comment threads).

 

 

9. Changes to Terms

Leckiestein reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the website or platform where the files are sold or distributed.
