This is the Orca Slicer release of the SWMCL Pause Preset for the Bambu Lab P1P and P1S. Paste the gcode into the Machine Pause G-code field of your Orca preset and configure via SSD keywords in printer notes.
The P1 Series in Orca gets the marquee feature that makes the SWMCL Pause Preset genuinely useful: `lower_bed_on_pause`. The bed drops automatically when you pause, making room for inserting parts, magnets, or hardware mid-print. The feature is smart about print height; it lowers 100mm for prints under 150mm tall, 50mm for prints 150-200mm, and stays in place for taller prints to avoid collision. Automatically raises back to position on resume.
The full routine also addresses common stock pause problems: purge drags into the print area, no flow control on resume. Each is solved with SSD keywords letting you pick exactly which behaviors you want.
Light-control SSDs from the X1C variants (`use_purge_work_light`, `dark_mode`) are not available in this release. The P1 Series doesn't have the X1C's work light (used for chamber camera illumination on the X1C) and the P1 logo light is not addressable through the same commands. If you want light management during pause, an X1C is required.
If you're already running a full SWMC Machine Preset on your P1 Series, you don't need this; the full preset includes this functionality. This release is for users who want the improved pause behavior without committing to the full machine preset.
