SWMC Lite Custom Pause Routine For X1C & Orca Slicer

Change Log

This is the Orca Slicer release of the SWMCL Pause Preset for the Bambu Lab X1C. Paste the gcode into the Machine Pause G-code field of your Orca preset and configure via SSD keywords in printer notes.

The X1C + Orca combination is the most feature-rich of the four SWMCL variants. You get `lower_bed_on_pause` for automatic bed lowering when inserting parts mid-print (Orca-exclusive; BBS lacks the required variable), plus the X1C-specific light controls for camera scene illumination and post-pause logo light suppression.

The full routine addresses common stock pause problems: purge drags into the print area, no flow control on resume, no camera visibility during purge cycles. Each of these is solved here with SSD keywords letting you pick exactly which behaviors you want.

The `dark_mode` SSD is worth calling out specifically: it keeps the X1C toolhead logo light off after resume. Since the logo light can't be disabled through the printer menu, this is the only way to resume overnight prints in a shared sleeping space without the bright light coming on. Small feature; big quality-of-life difference.

If you're already running a full SWMC Machine Preset on your X1C, you don't need this; the full preset includes this functionality. This release is for users who want the improved pause behavior without committing to the full machine preset.

Notes

This is the Orca Slicer port of the SWMCL Pause Preset for the X1C. Paste the gcode into the Machine Pause G-code field of your Orca preset and configure via SSD keywords in printer notes.

The Orca port has one meaningful advantage over the BBS port: the `lower_bed_on_pause` SSD actually works. Orca exposes the bed-position variable in Pause gcode that BBS does not, so enabling this keyword in Orca will drop the bed when pausing. Useful for inserting parts, magnets, or hardware mid-print.

Everything else in this release matches the BBS variant. Purge flow control, anti-filament-strip, work light management, and the modified pause routine all behave identically.

If you're running both Orca and BBS for different prints, note that your printer notes field applies per-preset. The same keywords work in both slicers; just make sure each preset has the keywords you want for that workflow.
