This version of the SteinWipe system has been printed to perfection and is ready to install - eliminating the need to dial in tight-tolerance prints yourself. Each part is produced using Bambu Lab PETG-HF for excellent strength, durability, and dimensional accuracy.

Designed to provide nozzle management to an unmanaged nozzle. SteinWipe Pro paired with SWMC Pro helps reduce filament ooze, improves startup consistency and speed, and delivers cleaner first layers. The system integrates seamlessly with your X1 & P1 series printer and is engineered for repeatable, reliable performance.

What Does the Control Tab Do?

(SteinWipe Motion Control Pro (SWMC Pro) not included)

The Control Tab is a key part of the SteinWipe Pro system, enabling precise nozzle handling, cleaner purging, and improved print reliability.

Provides a dedicated surface for controlled nozzle scraping
(No more scraping the back of the build plate)
Fiber laser textured option adds grip for aggressive cleaning and reliable purge separation
Ideal for PETG
Not recommended for soft brass nozzles (e.g., Revo)
Enables high-temperature purging for cleaner material flushing
Pulls heat from the nozzle tip through direct contact to reduce ooze
Works with the part cooling fan for accelerated nozzle cooldown
SWMC Pro actively manages ProTab temperature, allowing safe use with PETG-printed mounts
Helps prevent end-of-print stringing
Improves ooze control during nozzle heating and cooling (including filament swaps)
Stabilizes nozzle behavior during X1 Pressure Advance calibration scans
Non-stick, self-cleaning spring design helps eject debris automatically

Notes

A single Control Tab is required and installs into the SteinWipe Pro wiper mount.
A second tab installed in place of the stock chute wiper (not included) is optional and required for continuous movement purging (Sidestepping) for nozzle docking .

The ProTab mount does not block access to the carbon filter door on P1 Series & X1C.

SteinWipe Pro is fully compatible with standard printing. You can safely use the Handy app and stock Bambu Lab profiles with it installed.
