SteinWipe Motion Control Core 0 for the Bambu Lab P1 Series; the original SWMC architecture that started it all. This listing covers all Core 0 releases for the P1P and P1S on Bambu Studio and Orca Slicer.

Core 0 uses inline SteinSwitch toggles for feature configuration. Each feature has a clearly commented `{if true}` / `{if false}` block in the gcode with instructions on what the SteinSwitch does and how to configure it. Users who enjoy being close to their gcode or want to learn how the SWMC features work mechanically will appreciate the directness of this architecture.

This is the foundation release of SteinWipe Motion Control. Features introduced here; startup wiping, chute tapping, nozzle inspection, mech test coordination, PA line handling, DABL bed leveling support; continued forward into every subsequent release. Many Core 0 SteinSwitches have direct Core 1 SSD equivalents; if you later move to Core 1, most of your workflow transfers.

The Core 0 family for the P1 Series includes two Bambu Studio releases (Feb.15.1 beta and Feb.15.2 stable) and one Orca Slicer release (Feb.15.1 beta, with no stable successor as development pivoted to Core 1 during that cycle).

For most users starting fresh today, the recommended path is SWMC Core 1 for Bambu Lab P1 Series (Apr.28.2025 Core Family); that listing covers the SSD architecture where features are keyword-configured in printer notes instead of edited in gcode. This Core 0 listing is for users who prefer the original architecture, need access to specific Core 0 features, or want the full dev progression of the project.

Each release ships as a .3mf file that imports directly into the slicer as a new printer preset. Full user manual is available on each release preview page.

The SteinWipe V1 wiper mount is required for the actual wiping features in this release. Other features including chute tapping, mech test coordination, and DABL support work without any hardware. Wiper mounts and pads are available separately in the SteinWipe Parts collection.

All releases in this listing are also included in Dev Pack 2025 and Dev Pack Pro 2026. If you want access to every SWMC release across all printers and all cores, the Dev Packs are the most cost-effective path. If you only need Core 0 for the P1 Series, this standalone listing is the right fit.
