SteinWipe Motion Control Core 1 for the Bambu Lab P1 Series; the SteinSwitch Definition (SSD) revolution. The core that transformed SWMC from a code-editing project into a keyword-configuration project. This listing covers all Core 1 releases for the P1P and P1S across both Bambu Studio and Orca Slicer.

Core 1 ships with 43 SSDs covering nozzle cleaning, AMS optimization, chute management, purge flow control, automated wipe cadences, mech test control, and purge bucket pause automation. Configure any feature by dropping a keyword into your slicer's printer notes field; no gcode editing required.

This is the recommended version of SWMC for most P1 Series users. Every feature from Core 0 is included, plus a large set of new SSDs that only became practical once configuration moved out of the gcode. Sharing your configuration with another user is as simple as copying the contents of your printer notes field.

The Bambu Studio release for the P1 Series is stable and in production. The Orca Slicer port shipped alongside it and is also production-ready. Both variants share the same SSD feature set with minor Orca-exclusive additions for flow control at print startup.

Each release ships as a .3mf file that imports directly into the slicer as a new printer preset. Full user manual is available on each release preview page.

The SteinWipe V1 wiper mount is recommended but not strictly required; most SSDs work without hardware, but the actual wiping features need something to wipe against. Wiper mounts and pads are available separately in the SteinWipe Parts collection.

All releases in this listing are also included in Dev Pack 2025 and Dev Pack Pro 2026. If you want access to every SWMC release across all printers and all cores, the Dev Packs are the most cost-effective path. If you only need Core 1 for the P1 Series, this standalone listing is the right fit.
