SteinWipe Pro | Advanced Edition Bolt-on | Fusion 360 STL & Print Profile

The SteinWipe Pro Advanced Edition wiper model. A magnetic sliding bracket-based wiper system designed for repeatable positioning, tool-less removal, and integrated ProTab support. This is the second-generation SteinWipe hardware design and the recommended wiper for users running SWMC Pro.

Where the original SteinWipe and the Standard Edition are bolt-in single-piece designs, the Advanced Edition is a multi-part system. The base bracket bolts to the printer permanently; the wiper assembly and ProTab carrier slide into the bracket and lock magnetically. Pull the wiper assembly out by hand for cleaning or pad replacement; no tools required. Reinstallation returns the wiper to the same XY and Z position automatically thanks to structural geometry in the magnetic bracket.

The Advanced Edition uses the same three-hole mounting pattern as the original SteinWipe V1 mount and the Standard Edition. If you have already installed either of those mounts on your printer, the Advanced Edition installs into your existing holes; no re-drilling required. Fresh installations use the original V1 drill template (included in the download) to mark hole positions on the rear chamber wall.

Four printable parts make up the Advanced Edition: the front wiper slide housing cover, the magnetic bracket, the ProTab sliding mount, and the ProTab locking drawbar. Total print time is approximately 2.5 hours using the provided BBS .3mf print profile. Material is PETG-HF; print without supports, brim, or raft, with print-by-object enabled.

Most SWMC Pro features that rely on the ProTab require the Advanced Edition (or the Standard Edition with its integrated ProTab) installed and calibrated. Core 1 and Core 0 users will benefit from the wiper assembly's improved repeatable positioning and tool-less cleaning, but will not use the ProTab portion of the assembly. SWMC Pro users get the full feature set the hardware was designed to support.
